Royal Caribbean International in 2013 will deploy the 1,950-passenger Grandeur of the Seas to Baltimore, replacing 2,252-passenger Enchantment of the Seas, which will reposition to Cape Canaveral, Fla.

The Enchantment of the Seas will replace the 2,390-passenger Monarch of the Seas, which is being assigned to Pullmantur, a sister cruise line. Parent company Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. announced in March that the Monarch would join Madrid-based Pullmantur.

The Enchantment will launch year-round three- and four-day Bahamas itineraries from Port Canaveral on April 25, 2013.

In Baltimore, the Grandeur's summer itineraries will alternate between seven-day Bermuda sailings and seven-day Bahamas sailings.

The Grandeur's autumn schedule will alternate between six-day Bermuda and eight-day Canada/New England sailings. The winter season will consist of rotating 10-day sailings to the eastern and western Caribbean as well as eight-day sailings to the Bahamas.

The Grandeur currently is operating Mediterranean and Greece/Turkey cruises. This winter, the Grandeur will sail southern Caribbean cruises from Colon, Panama.
