Xanterra Parks & Resorts, parent of Windstar Cruises, has acquired three yachts from Seabourn Cruises.
Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend will be integrated into Windstar’s fleet over a two-year period beginning in the spring of 2014, doubling its size.
Each of the three ships accommodates 208 passengers.
Following a renovation, the Pride will get a new name and set sail for Windstar in May 2014, Xanterra said.
Voyages are expected to go on sale in May of this year.
Windstar will take possession of the Legend in April 2015 and the Spirit in May 2015, and those yachts are scheduled to start sailing for Windstar in May of 2015, following renovations.
