MSC Cruises said that Miami will be its exclusive homeport for Caribbean sailings starting in fall 2013, pending approval by the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners later this month.
The 11-ship Italian line said that its agreement with the Port of Miami is for three years. MSC currently sails out of Fort Lauderdale.
