Piccinini takes up communications role with Costa

Mina Piccinini has joined Costa Crociere in the position of senior vice president communication and sustainability.

Reporting directly to the chief executive Michael Thamm, she will be in charge of corporate communication, press office, sustainability, public relations and events.

Piccinini has gained extensive experience in the areas of communication and sustainability, initially in the non-profit sector and subsequently in a series of international posts working for the Fiat Group.

She joined Ferrari in 2004 as head of the corporate press office in Maranello and was later promoted to communication director for Ferrari West Europe based in Paris.

She was appointed head of the Fiat Group’s Sustainability Unit in 2008 and under her guidance Fiat was admitted to the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indexes, which are both global sustainability benchmarks.
